The Archive is still very much under active, constant construction.(1)

Which is another way of saying the walls are continuing to spread outward in all directions while the Archivist survives primarily through caffeine, recursion, and increasingly concerning levels of symbolic pattern recognition.(2)

This page exists as a living roadmap of:

  • upcoming pages

  • in-progress theories

  • active research areas

  • planned archival projects

  • and structural expansions currently being built into the system

Not all pages listed here will remain unchanged.

Some may:

  • split apart

  • merge together

  • recurse into other concepts

  • or evolve entirely as new connections emerge

That is expected behavior.(3)

Archivist’s Note

The problem with publishing a roadmap is that it creates the illusion that I know where this is going.

I do not.

Or perhaps more accurately: I do, right up until I don’t.

The Archive has always had a habit of wandering off the marked trail in pursuit of something more interesting.

An essay becomes a framework.
A framework becomes a theory.
A theory becomes a field report.
A field report somehow results in an entirely unnecessary hidden page dedicated to thirst and the quenching thereof.

Such is the ecosystem.

Whenever I publish a list of planned additions, there is an accompanying sense of guilt when new work appears before older projects are completed.

As though I have abandoned the path.

Experience suggests the opposite is true.

The moments where the Archive feels most alive are usually the moments when it refuses to follow instructions.

The roadmap remains useful.

It tells you where I believed I was headed.

The Archive itself documents where I actually went.

Historically, those have not always been the same place.

Some future archival and visual-analysis projects may require creator permission, attribution coordination, or access to materials that are not publicly available.

The Archive strongly prioritizes:

  • preservation ethics

  • creator consent

  • proper attribution

  • and respectful handling of visual/artistic work

Which means certain sections may develop slowly while the Archivist learns how to navigate the terrifying labyrinth known as “professional outreach.”(4)

The Madwoman

She tells herself she is “networking.”

What she means is pacing the room for forty minutes before pressing send and briefly transcending physical form afterward.

Archive & Artifact Preservation

  • expanded canon speech archive

  • visual chronology preservation

  • costume/mask evolution tracking

  • photography attribution index

  • fandom artifact cataloging

  • lost/deleted media preservation

Long-Term Goals

The Archive ultimately aims to function as:

  • a living reference system

  • a symbolic index

  • a preservation project

  • a community artifact

  • and an evolving framework for recursive analysis

Not to provide a single “correct” interpretation.

But to preserve the many ways people have interacted with, interpreted, survived, and transformed alongside the work.

Important Note

The Archive does not claim definitive authority over interpretation.

Contradiction is expected and welcomed. (5)

Multiple readings may coexist simultaneously.

The system frequently behaves differently depending on:

  • emotional context

  • recursive exposure

  • listener perspective

  • symbolic focus

  • and temporal distance from the material itself

This instability is not treated as failure.

It is treated as part of the architecture.

“Nothing lasts forever.”

Neither does unfinished documentation.(6)
